The Ortec group receives the employment trophy at the 14th edition of the Trophées de l’économie.

Over 300 guests from the regional business community looked on in Marseille as Jacques Pfister, chairman of the Marseille Provence chamber of commerce and industry, and Didier Pillet, CEO of La Provence Group, presented awards to the top-performing companies. The jury of businesses and professional bodies used a long list of selection criteria to choose the award-winners. It was a difficult choice, aimed at singling out the companies that showed the most initiative, boldness, success and inventiveness while also achieving strong economic vitality that helped them weather the economic crisis and soften the blow. The employment trophy was awarded to Groupe Ortec for having recruited over 1,000 employees in three years. The trophies for Export and Development, and the title of manager of the year were awarded, respectively, to France Polymères, ITM (International Technic Marine) and Loïc Fauchon, CEO of Sem (Société des Eaux de Marseille).
